On 1 Februar 2013, Media Foundation of Sparkasse Leipzig hosts a panel discussion in the framework of "Radio Workshop Radio Play" 2013 in cooperation with Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk broadcasting. The panel discussion takes place at "Media Campus Villa Ida".
Last summer, there was a heavy dispute over the question of how the claims of
artists or journalists, who also have to make a living through the
online exploitation of their work, and the demands of the public, that is interested in a most unrestricted and free use of all content on the World Wide Web could can be arranged. Since
the spreading of radio plays beyond the classical broadcast on public
radio can use the potential of the net in ideal way, it makes
sense to make the small, demarcated terrain to the test field. So the "Radio Workshop Radio Play" will tackle this by using the already
practiced models of Hörspielpark (Radio Play Park) and Hörspielpool (Radio Play Pool) in order to higlight the
possibilities of a productive balance of interests.
"Radio Workshop Radio Play" 2013 - HÖRSPIELPOOL - HÖRSPIELPARK - Radio plays on the Internet" is open to all interested persons. Participation is free. Registration is requestet until 30 January 2013 via email-address info@leipziger-medienstiftung.de or by reply fax. The panel discussion will also be linked as a live stream on the homepage of the Media Foundation (http://www.leipziger-medienstiftung.de/aktuelles).
